Why are there different colored wheels on a bench grinder?

    • Remember to always keep the correct angle.

    • Switch to a white wheel to sharpen the line to the maximum without damaging it.

    • Use cold water or some coolant to avoid overheating the metal.

    • It is possible to finish the process by bluing or polishing on leather to free the blade of residues and leave it shiny.







What precautions should I take when working with the bench grinder?

  10. If you are going to stress the grindstone, try using coarse-grained stones. If the work is continuous, use the shape wheels.

  11. If you are unfamiliar with sharpening tools, use templates to help you with the correct angle.

  12. Try to always work with adjustable and robust positioners.
